This 11"x17" vertical poster is a print recreation of Madison Pollard's original watercolor design. It illustrates the most central neighborhoods and districts of downtown Richmond, VA.
In her own words, "Richmond, VA is a city of historic architecture, small businesses and restaurant culture. So much of our city's creative culture and social scene are intertwined with the unique sites illustrated on this wall art. As these special places and in turn, the neighborhoods, have all been affected by the pandemic, I wanted to showcase their uniqueness and document them as they are in 2021.
This original illustration of Richmond, Virginia's historic neighborhoods was drawn with pencil, painted with watercolor, then drawn again with fountain pen. The print features some of the most distinguished places to enjoy living and exploring within Richmond.
