Headbands Creating Hope

We “Hope” you love this line as much as we do!

Wrap yourself in style and goodness with Headbands of Hope!  Our new line out of Raleigh, North Carolina mixes on-trend colors, patterns and styles of headbands with an amazing charitable movement.  For every headband purchased, a headband is given to a child with cancer and $1 is donated to fund Childhood Cancer Research.

Founder Jess Ekstrom was inspired to create Headbands of Hope while she had an internship during college with a wish granting organization. She noticed the difference a headband would make in the attitude of a child experiencing hair loss and it was all the inspiration she needed.

On of our employees would have loved to receive a headband as a child… well, at least a masculine sporty buff!  At five years old, he battled leukemia for four years and remembers how different he felt because of his hair loss due to treatment. He often felt embarrassed by his appearance and it breaks our hearts to know that other children feel the same way.  Having a hat or bandana made him feel secure, and that’s the feeling we want to give all children fighting battles of their own.  Headband donations based on our sales will stay local, going to the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU.

Headbands for Hope offers a range of headband styles that look stunning with anything from Simply Southern Tees to formal and bridal events. Not only will you look great while wearing these headbands, you will feel great about a purchase that provides hope to children with cancer.

The definition of hope “is a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.” Wearing these headbands shows your hope to end childhood cancer. This awesome brand makes style and strength collide through an amazing cause that makes this line easy to love!
